About the Editor:
William Whiteley, BM, BCh, MRCP, is specialist registrar in Medical Neurology Division of Clinical Neurosciences in the University of Edinburgh at Western General Hospital. He is an Associate Member of Association of British Neurologists and a Board Member of British Association of Stroke Physicians. As a CSO Clinical Academic Training Fellow at the Centre For Clinical Brain Sciences that promotes excellence in research and training of an internationally competitive standing in brain disorders, his research interest is in the study of usefulness of blood biomarkers in the prognosis and diagnosis of stroke. He has also worked on the feasibility of acute stroke MRI and IST-3 trial. He has written several articles and books on Stroke.
